In line with the school’s mission to provide a well-balanced programme, Extra – Curricular Activities (ECAs) are offered to KICS students from Year 1 to Year 13. These activities provide students with opportunities to participate in a wide range of competitive and non-competitive sports, arts, challenge and community service activities and provide the opportunity for students to become well-balanced individuals.
The ECAs run through the entire school year over three (3) seasons; each season lasting between eight (8) to eleven (11) weeks. The variety of ECAs offered differs from season to season, taking into account the weather in Khartoum. Normally, ECAs are offered by KICS teachers or parents and occasionally by external coaches. These activities are usually an hour long and start at 2:30 – 3:30 from Sunday to Thursday, with the exception of Golf, which is normally scheduled on a Saturday.
For more information about KICS ECAs, please contact the ECA Coordinator, Christina Balog-ang, through her email Christina.firstname.lastname@example.org. Furthermore, kindly visit the KICS ECA Information Page and the ECA Guidelines.
