I have been a Primary School Principal for 6 years, previously in Rwanda as well as in the United States, where I was also a PYP Coordinator. Before this, I taught in various international schools in Uganda and California. I hold a M.A. in Education and a teaching credential with an emphasis on cross-cultural language acquisition. I believe in equipping children to be creative, self-motivated, life-long learners who are prepared to be citizens of a global world. I am originally from London in the UK and have been a Primary school teacher for 5 years, mostly in EYFS and KS1. I love the excitement with which young children approach learning. Although KICS is my first international school posting, I have travelled extensively across Europe, Asia, South America and Africa and lived and worked in France and Djibouti.
