Originally from England, Peter has a BA Jt Hons in Physics and Geology from Keele University, UK, a PGCE from Warwick University and a Masters degree in technology-enhanced learning (MEd TEL) from Stirling University, Scotland. Peter began teaching in the UK in 1985 following a spell as a weather forecaster with the UK Meteorological Office. Peter has, since 1993, taught internationally in Geneva, Aleppo, Muscat, Jakarta and Frankfurt, joining KICS in 2017.

I am originally from San Diego, California. This is my first year as Head of Primary at KICS. I have been a Primary School Principal for 6 years, previously in Rwanda as well as in the United States, where I was also a PYP Coordinator. Before this, I taught in various international schools in Uganda and California. I hold a M.A. in Education and a teaching credential with an emphasis on cross-cultural language acquisition. I believe in equipping children to be creative, self-motivated, life-long learners who are prepared to be citizens of a global world. My hobbies include quality time with family and friends, walking, traveling, reading and spending time at the beach. I look forward to an exciting year at KICS!

Originally from Sudan, Reem has extensive experience in Accounting and Finance. For 8 years she has worked in various International Companies both abroad and in Sudan, filling general Financial management positions. Subsequently, taking a position at KICS, she joined the educational field in 2005. She received her BSc. in Accounting from University of Juba and Bachelor of Laws from El Nielien University. Since the beginning of her career at KICS, Reem has risen steadily up the career ladder. Her roles have included Bursar, Finance Manager, and Business Manager. She is now External Affairs Director, since August 2013.
